Moon 4th quarter Capricorn - Hard working, earthly and grounded energies of Capricorn.  Today is about balancing and grounding.
Moon Void-of-Course 12:39 pm EST and entering Aquarius 9:37 pm EST - Aquarius also asks us to be balanced.  Use these energies to find common grounds with others.

ALL FOOLS' DAY  - The Foolish Frolic by Deborah Blake (Llewellyn, 2016)

April Fools' Day.  It is known as a time for playing pranks, but it is also a good time to harness your inner "fool," letting go of preconceived notions about what is proper or appropriate.  On the first, or any time during the month of April, why not let yourself go?  Be a little foolish, and like the birds or the rabbits, play in the sun simply for the joy of it.  If you have a hard time letting go, you can say this spell first.  It embraces the energies and properties of the element of Air, which also makes it appropriate for any time you want to celebrate that particular element. (For an extra boost, light a yellow candle.)

Dreamwork: Creative Triggers for Lucid Dreams

Lately a few people have mentioned to me the occurrence of "weird dreams," or dreams that are rather vivid and busy. Weird is a subjective term and means different things to different people, but I assure you that "weird" is quite normal in the dreamscape. Weird, strange, or peculiar dreams can be one of the best spring boards to dreamwork.  In my experience I have three different types of dreams: lucid, prophetic/psychic, and the typical strange dream we're all used to. I'll start by discussing my experience with lucid dreams because they require triggers. Dreamwork and Crystal Combinations: Chrysocolla, Howlite, and Unakite

I will be sharing my experiences in a new dreamwork blog series. I have been able to lucid dream from a young age.  Growing up, and in my adult years, I continue to work with dreams, interpret, read and learn what I can about dreaming, and the dreamscape. What does "working with dreams" mean exactly?  I purposefully do things in waking life to encourage things to happen in my dream life.  If there are herbs, crystals, foods, drinks, music, or meditation said to enhance lucid or psychic dreaming, you bet that I'm going to try it out.  I will discuss more of this in future blog posts.
